Over many years, we have worked with the technical training department of a major automotive brand to develop and update their library of complex technical presentation slides, classroom electronic assessments, visual aids and delegate documents. We supply delegate document packs, on demand, to match an ever-changing multi-course schedule.

Our role was to transform a somewhat tired, bullet-point driven set of slides into a programme of vibrant, instructor-led presentations. Audio-visual slide sequences with voice narration, video clips, table-top games, interactive PowerPoint quizzes and classroom electronic assessments provide exciting instructor materials. A road-map theme gives access to each topic via a motorway junction.

The requirement was for a cost-effective, flexible alternative to classroom training. Working with client software developers, we devised and scripted key 'nursery slope' example routines to match user learning objectives. Step-by-step screen sequences were captured and voice-over added to build clickable, interactive software simulations for CD and on-line delivery.

Our client needed a field training solution for technicians using a complex automotive electronic tester and associated diagnostic software. We mapped key functions and routines, ready for screen capture. Drop-down menus and data entry simulations were constructed to produce a narrated, interactive user guide, delivered on CD and on-line.

The objective was to collate a wide range of current, and often overlapping, documents and edit them into a concise and user-friendly handbook. An A6, loose-leaf format was developed that could be carried unobtrusively in an LGV driver's bag, and serve as a day-to-day source of reference to UK and EU legal requirements, company rules and important operating procedures. The loose-leaf format facilitates the updating and addition of material for the handbook, which is a focus for driver communications and a permanent place for drivers to make their own notes on key aspects of their particular routes and destinations.
